Religious people (Abrahamic religions) are really pissing me off right now.

My parents are more or less religious. My mother's family is really religious, while my fathers is more laid back, but they still feel connected to their religion and God.

I am an atheist, because to me the concept of God is childish and every religion is just weird when I look at it from the outside.

I do get though that "God" gives hope and strength to some people, so I don't want to take that particular part from anyone, but I believe that the world could be a better place, if people didn't believe in a god at all.

I have met religious people that don't care about this planet due to the fact that their religion is telling them, that there is an afterlife and heaven waits for them. To those people it doesn't matter that the world isn't perfect for everyone or that it is literally burning, because in the end good people will go to heaven and the bad should burn either way.

So, they think "temporarily" suffering here on earth is not a big deal.

If those people wouldn't believe in God and acknowledged that life is just this stupid life we have on earth, maybe they would care more to change it to make a better place for at least themselves if not for everyone.

Then there are also religious people I unfortunately had to talk to, that believe a converted murderer deserves heaven more than a kind hearted generous non-believer/believer of other religion. To you guys: Fuck you! If there is hell, then we will meet there.

Generally, I have met way more idiotic religious people than truly kindhearted religious people. We are talking about real life here - not the internet, so no, in my opinion most religious people are bad people. Fight with a wall about it.

The group that pissed me of today were the "thank God" people.

I saw a post about a boy that was the first to defeat a very particular kind of cancer. Apparently, some doctors were successful in their therapy and it was an impressive achievement.

To me saving anyone from cancer is impressive and I believe doctors need to get praised for their hard work and dedication in curing deadly illnesses like these.

Do you know what those religious idiots did?

Under every post that praised the doctors work and the young boy’s strength to withstand that, people added "and also God" or "thank God too".

No, you motherfucker, fuck your god! He doesn't exist and if he did, he is the creator of everything - which means cancer as well. Why should that creature be praised?

Also, why can't we just focus on the doctors and the patient for once without you inserting your nonsensical believe on everyone?

Are you that jealous that people like you were able to accomplish something so incredible while you loser are doing nothing impressive at all? Is that why you are trying to make it look like it wasn't solely the doctors hard work but your imaginary friend who helped them?

Jealousy is not cute. Stop that!
